"Samuels Cottage is ideal to get away from things, not far from Looe and Seaton for great beaches, 40 mins from Plymouth for shopping or altenatively just take a walk round teh village and relax. There is a pub and a small village shop and post office all within a 2 minute walk."

"An excellent property maintained to a high standard, and with a beautiful heated indoor pool. Cream tea, flowers and a bottle of wine from the owner were a lovely surprise on arrival. Highly recommended."

"Charmouth is not a hotbed of activity, but that's not what we wanted! We loved it - the house is gorgeous, and none of us wanted to leave. It's a great place to walk from, the local pub is unpretentious, sells nice beer and straighforward food, and the local shop is amazingly convenient and well-stocked for last minute purchases. The walk to Lyme is somewhat disappointing, as sadly, so much of it is now by the road. Plenty of other directions to go in though!"

"An excellent property and perfectly located for walking the south west coast path around Padstow and Trevose head etc. Highly recommended."

"The property is warm, comfortable and well equipped! I am to be back in Stogumber later in the year and, if possible, will use the same property as a base for work! Pity it won't be holiday yet again though"

"Nilgiris is a stunning house with everything you need to enjoy a holiday or short break and its size makes it perfect for sharing with friends. St Mawes itself is both beautiful and family friendly, even the very special Hotel Tresanton welcomes children with open arms. The views from Nilgiris over the harbour and sea beyond are completely captivating and so if you just want to relax and take it all in you can. We loved it!"

"Parking is a problem at this property. The parking access is very difficult and you should make it very clear that is is only appropriate for a very small car"

"The cottage and the village were lovely. The cottage has everything you could want, and is right in the centre of the village. Slapton Ley was also fantastic, as was the coastal path from Slapton Sands to Start Point."

"Helpful Holidays has the best listing of holiday home in the country. We loved the house and have rented again from Helpful Holidays two years later and are planning two rentals this year. Wish we could stay in all your home. We use the homes for family reunions. We come from the US and meet the rest of our family at the rented property. It's the perfect way for us to get together and the prices for a large group such as ours are very reasonable. Thank you."
