Demand for WiFi is increasing amongst holidaymakers, young and old alike, who want to keep up-to-date with their emails, check out the weather, local attractions, pubs and restaurants, as well as play games on those occasional dull days. It's also vital for those "workaholics" who can't truly relax without keeping in touch with the office!

Even if you already provide broadband, you might like to consider this offer. Installing WiFi will make your property more attractive to holidaymakers and can make you some money.

Because it’s fully managed, holidaymakers call WiFi SPARK’s help desk with any queries or problems - open every day so no “it doesn’t work” calls to you. For your peace of mind and protection, the service is fully secure and complies with all EU regulations.

It’s also easy for holidaymakers – they simply log in via their laptops to find your WiFi hotspot and follow the simple log in instructions provided on the welcome page (designed for owners by WiFi SPARK).

And you can earn some money! Users pay up front for the service via credit card. WiFi SPARK split the income generated with you, which is likely to cover your installation costs and then contribute towards your monthly broadband connection charges. You decide what to charge (we can recommend rates) and WiFi SPARK and Helpful Holidays collect and distribute the income on your behalf.

You may even benefit from “passing trade” as other users may be able to access the service outside the property and log in via the welcome screen – and pay the appropriate charges!

WiFi SPARK’s Hotspot system is quick and simple to install – in most cases owners can do this themselves as WiFi SPARK pre-configure the hotspot box and design and set up the user welcome screen with your own images or branding. The box just needs a standard 13 amp power supply and plugging in to the broadband connection. If you haven’t got broadband, we can also help find a suitable supplier – we recommend Eclipse. The WiFi hotspot box is small and discrete and won’t look out of place in any property – older country cottages or brand new seaside apartments.

If, for any reason, the property may prove a little out of the ordinary and require an on-site survey, then WiFi SPARK will provide a quote with a full breakdown of likely costs for these services prior to coming on site (e.g. many older buildings have thick granite walls which may cause a problem).
