Enjoy a day at the races on a Devon holiday

There's always a great atmosphere at Newton Abbot race course on race days, and Devon holiday cottage guests planning a getaway this month will be able to see what all the fuss is about.

The next race day will be held at the venue on Tuesday 25th September, with the first race kicking off at 2.10pm and the last scheduled for 5.10pm.

Newton Abbot is the UK's leading summer jumping racecourse, offering amazing horse racing action as well as fantastic visitor amenities, all in a beautiful countryside setting.

There are numerous food stalls where visitors can grab a bite to eat, from burgers and hot dogs to pasties and jacket potatoes. There are also a number of bars and restaurants, including the Winning Post luxury eatery overlooking the racecourse.

The dress code for all enclosures is smart casual, although there's no reason why visitors can't go all out and dress to impress, making their day out extra special.

Tickets for the 25th September race day cost £12 for the course enclosure or £18 for the paddock enclosure, which includes exclusive use of the paddock grandstand.
