Families looking forward to a break in a Devon holiday cottage next month can see one of the great comic musicians in action. Richard Digance
will perform at the Landmark Theatre in Ilfracombe on 8th September.
The widely acclaimed singer made his name in the 1970s and 80s thanks to his fantastic gift for comedy song writing.
Digance's undisputed talent led him to a support slot for Steve Martin during a tour of the US, while he has also been a warm-up act for Robin Williams at The London Palladium.
Upon receiving the Gold Award from the British Academy of Composers and Songwriters he was described as 'someone who for half a century has travelled the world with just a guitar and an immense collection of stories gathered through his own experiences'.
Digance has also been nominated for a BAFTA and features in The Virgin Anthology of Songwriters for his contribution to British comedy song writing.
Tickets are still available for the event priced between £13.50 and £15.50.
