| The sea, flat, smooth, azure, shimmers
in the afternoon sun, a ball of orange
heat, a soft fresh breeze cools
the skin, warmth radiates off hot sands.
Behind, the deep green trees cool and shade baking fields.
Balmy, tee-shirt evenings, a glass of something cool and
a fine view give way to ‘cricket song’ nights.
A Greek island perhaps? No! It’s a perfect
West Country summer – the type that children remember
forever - and there’s no sign of surrender
from the high pressure systems that have given us unbroken
weeks of glorious days. Hurrah!
We hope you have the opportunity to enjoy it. If we can
help, give us a call.

| Here’s the trumpet blowing bit … we’re
delighted to have been shortlisted for the Management Today/Unisys
Service Excellence Awards for 2006.
The three finalists in the ‘Small
Business’ category have all been judged to have
demonstrated outstanding commitment to
providing exceptional quality of service
in every dimension of business - we, from our holidaymakers
to our homeowners and everything in-between.
We’ll find out if we’ve won at a
dinner and ceremony at the Millennium Mayfair
Hotel on Thursday 28th September. Obviously we’re
hoping we can add this one to the Outstanding
Customer Service award we won last year in the
South West Tourism Excellence Awards.
We’ll let you know how we do.
