… but the West Country still manages to take
our breath away come rain or shine or even snow!
Its rugged coastline, the beaches
and rock pools, its rambling moors, the
deep, secret woods with great moss-covered
boulders, the garden of a landscape
created by its industrious farmers; it’s a
wonder to behold. Here, even in the depths of a
monotone winter, a climb to the top of almost any Dartmoor
hill reveals such splendid and breathtaking views
as to make one wonder where in all the world could
be better than this? So come on, climb a hill.
Place your valuable trust in the determination
of our helpful team to find you a place
they love and think you will too and give a little
bit of West Country therapy a go. Have
happy holidays!

the Rest & Be Thankful Inn, Wheddon
Cross – well behaved dogs welcome. More details at
