Festivities all over for another year - we hope you had a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year and that you’re looking forward to 2008.
Now is always a good time to take stock; gather your thoughts and focus on your hopes for the coming months. Why not make it easier this year with a change of perspective? Take a break and come west for a few days. Relax in a cosy cottage, curl up by the fire; see where your imagination takes you.
We have a huge variety of places to stay. Whichever you like the look of, you’ll know we’ve been to it, star-rated it and will give you that extra bit of personal attention and answer any questions you might want to ask about it. What better way to start the New Year than a relaxing holiday or short break in one of our great holiday homes?

| It’s that ‘oh yes it is…’ time of year and we’ve searched through West Country venues for some good old pantomimes you might enjoy if you’re anywhere near these theatres. We have some lovely holiday homes in or near all these towns. |

| It certainly does! Helpful Holidays was pleased to sponsor the 26th North Devon Performing Arts Festival Winners’ Gala at Grenville College, near Bideford in December. Our Helen presented prizes to the winner, Pip Ash from West Buckland School, and Mark and Christina Tang from Grenville Cottage, who came second and third. Helen was ‘astounded’ by the standard and talent of all the winners. |

Between the Christmas parties and shopping, we’ve found time to add another nine new holiday homes to the Helpful Holidays portfolio; three new ones in the South Hams (L45, L80 and L71), two in south Cornwall (R52 and R53), two in east Devon (G24 and G25), one in north Cornwall (P42) and one on Dartmoor (A79). They’re on our website now and will be in our first supplement. We’ll be mailing that out shortly.
