It’s that blissful time after Whitsun
and before the schools unlock the doors and let everyone
escape for their long summer holidays. If you’ve got
the time and the opportunity now to come
to the South West, you’ll find lush summer
gardens, leafly lanes with any
hue of green you like, beaches with space to stretch
your toes and coastal paths strewn with multi-coloured
wild flowers all still fresh and verdant
before the gradual decline to the parched shades of late
summer. Come and enjoy the benefits of the warm,
long days, find somewhere great to eat, or walk,
or perhaps just mooch and stare. Helpful Holidays have plenty
of lovely holiday homes all over the South-West
and our friendly sales team know them all.
They’re very happy to discuss them
with you and give you an unbiased and honest comment
to help you decide on the one that is right for
you. Have a look at our website –
www.helpfulholidays.com
– or call us on 01647 433593. We’re open till
9pm most of the week and all day on Saturdays.
And if you’re coming on holiday in the next few weeks,
there’s lots going on as a great variety of
summer events get into their stride…

Ben Stevens, who used to work for
us a few years ago, has lined himself up for some serious
punishment in aid of CLIC Sargent, the
UK’s leading children’s cancer charity. He
has committed himself to run or row 500kms
in 100 days and just to spice it up a
bit he also completed a bicycle ride
(16 hours and 2 punctures) from London to Exeter last
weekend. If you would like to help him meet his target
of £1000, please go to his website at
