Easter was an unexpected scorcher
but with the gallons of rain in early spring the lanes,
hedgerows and woods are now carpeted with an outstanding
display of billions of flowers. The Wisteria
has never been better! Can we hope for
more of the same at Whitsun? We do.
Now of course is the time to come to
the West Country to see the countryside at its very
best. Discover the joy of wandering the lanes
and footpaths. Drink in the scent of a bluebell
wood, marvel at a million shades of green
from a Dartmoor tor or laze away world-weariness in a
welcoming pub or tea shop. It’s ‘show
time’ in the West Country – don’t
miss it!

This is a broad-based selection of events based both on

Arthur Conan Doyle’s tale, The Hound of the
Baskervilles. A very alarming story unfolds as
you enjoy a sumptious dinner….go

| April is an amazing month for birthdays
at Helpful Holidays and we seem to stagger from one sumptious
cake to another (all baked by Wendy). This year
there were also extra celebrations for
one of our property managers Gill (60th)
so we surprised her with a lunchtime do, ipod and walking
boots here in the office (for those of you with beady eyes
it was my 40th too ... ho hum). |
We hope you have wonderful holidays in the West Country
this year.
As always, if you need help choosing, just call us, and
we'll do our best to help you find a holiday home that
meets your dreams.
Best wishes
Moray Bowater
