Reach for those sunglasses…

We hope you managed to get down to the West Country to soak up all that lovely sunshine over Easter. Blue, blue seas and skies and al fresco eating (hope your Easter eggs didn’t melt). We’re looking forward to more of the same and, following the recent spring showers and warm sunshine, the region is bursting with colour ready for you to enjoy another relaxing break.

Perhaps we can tempt you with some great discounts on a few of our holiday homes for the Whitsun holiday? Just £100 per person (based on 6 sharing) for a week’s stay in a lovely former milking parlour (K20) close to the cobbled streets of Clovelly; save almost £1,400 on a spectacular house (L901) sleeping 12 overlooking the beach at South Sands in Salcombe. Enjoy a few rounds of golf at St Mellion in a detached stone and timber lodge (R21), just £151 per person for 5 including some free golf and use of the leisure facilities. Or stay in a pretty 19th century cottage (S200) sleeping 2 with lovely views of the Fal estuary and save over £100.

If you can’t make it for Whitsun, we’ve other great offers for you throughout May.

The hotel is set on the northern edge of Dartmoor near Chagford, and if you want to eat and drink somewhere really special (two Michelin stars and top chef Michael Caines at the helm) while you’re on holiday in Devon, it’s definitely one of THE places to go!

New properties…

We hope you’ve received our second supplement of new holiday homes sent out a few weeks ago – do let us know if you’d like one. Since then, we’ve added a few more holiday homes to our website. Some of you may remember D180 at Stogumber – it’s great to welcome it back, all bright and new. Close to Loddiswell is L109, a brand new barn conversion overlooking the River Avon. In the ever popular Dartmoor village of Drewsteignton, A151 is not far from the churchyard; while in North Devon K22 is Kirstie Allsopp’s very special family house in a delightful location at Welcombe Mouth, full of fun and colour – as featured on Channel 4’s ‘Kirstie’s Homemade Home’.
