| The ‘season of mists and mellow fruitfulness’
approaches. What an exceptional summer! The hedgerows are
heavy with delicious blackberries and soon the apples will
be ready too. Time for some walks, a spot of wild
food gathering and pie baking. Come to the West
Country in September to enjoy a quieter time, soft
colours, warm scents. Stay in one of our comfy
cottages, visit friends and the food festivals,
feast on the harvest of our delightful region and
watch the sunsets drawing in. Lovely.
For help finding a place to stay, call us or try the
advanced search page on our website. Call us with any
queries; you can always speak to the team member who has
visited any property that interests you. All are regularly
checked out by us and come with our wholehearted recommendation
as good places for happy holidays.

| You may remember Helpful Holidays is sponsoring Max
Daymond as he competes to make his mark in motor
racing. This summer has had its ups and downs as he tries
to win the ‘Senior Rotax Max’ karting
championship. He’s currently lying 8th and hoping
for a bit more consistency during the second half of the
season. Come on Max! |
| It’s that time of year. We’re ordering
the envelopes, lining up the Post Office
lorries, and sending the call out to our willing
local workers to get themselves ready for a few
weeks of sending out brochures (and of catching up on all
the local gossip as they do so!). Our 2007 brochure
arrives this week. |
| …and while you’re waiting for the brochure
to arrive, have a look at some of the fabulous houses
and cottages which have joined us recently. Every
holiday home is visited and inspected by
our sales team who will give you honest and knowledgeable
advice to help you select the very best one for
you. |
