Autumn draws nigh as summer ends on a high note
with delightful sunshine, azure, shimmering
seas and cloudless skies, with the promise
of further good weather to come as the season turns.
Prospects are that this autumn will be the equal of last
year’s, which was a veritable Indian summer
and the perfect backdrop for a short break or longer
visit to the West Country. One benefit of the later
arrival of warm weather this year is that the usual dried-out
colours of late summer have been delayed and the region
still has a green backcloth to the emerging
berries and autumn fruits, whilst rivers
are unusually full and lively. Ideal
for walking and wandering and staying in one of
our great range of fully-inspected and recommended
holiday cottages. Call us and
talk to our team for help in finding the perfect
place just for you.

We were delighted to sponsor our local agricultural show
on the 16th August and what a glorious, sunny day it was.
Over 360 people entered our prize
draw for a £500 Helpful Holidays discount

from Northlew. Helen and the team welcomed
people from all over to our marquee located by the main
