Summer is upon us and the Whitsun half-term
is just three weeks away. Already the banks of yellow
daffodils are gone, replaced by lagoons of bluebells,
stichwort and campion. |

Come to the West Country now for the
best of this marvellous changing scene. Walk the footpaths
and picnic in the fields. We offer short breaks in

Early summer festivals get underway in May as the
days stretch out and warm up.
Padstow’s ‘Obby ‘Oss took place
over the May Day weekend but still to go are Helston’s
Flora Dance on 8th May and the ‘Run to the Sun’
at Newquay, the Potwalloping Festival at Westward
Ho! and the Hunting of the Earl of Rone at Combe Martin,
all over the Whitsun weekend.
