Sailing enthusiasts staying in Cornwall holiday cottages next month are being urged to make the most of the summer sun and head to Falmouth.
From August 9th-16th, visitors of all ages can enjoy
Falmouth Week a yearly festival which sees the town take on a carnival atmosphere.
Boat races are held throughout the event, while those who feel more comfortable on land can enjoy Regatta teas, prize-giving ceremonies and non-stop entertainment.
Both Events Square and Princess Pavilion will welcome local musicians and big time bands to perform to the crowds, many of which will stay in Cornwall holiday cottages.
Each spectacular night will have a different theme, including 70s, 80s and Caribbean Cocktail, while fireworks displays and fancy dress competitions will also be on offer.
A number of sailing venues throughout Falmouth will host special boating events including the Royal Cornwall Yacht Club and Restronguet Sailing Club.
Falmouth Week - sponsored by Henri-Lloyd - is now the largest regatta in the south-west and is just a short boat trip away from St Mawes.
