The next three weekends before Christmas will see Lanhydrock, a National Trust attraction located in Bodmin, Cornwall play host to events Cornwall holiday cottage guests may want not to miss.

Christened Tis the Season, this event at the magnificent late Victorian country house promises to help visitors get into the Christmas spirit through a variety of events.

The events include storytelling, Christmas crafts and children's garden trail, Christmas kitchen tours as well as winter Woodland Wander self-guided walks the whole family can enjoy.

Cornwall holiday cottage guests will also get the opportunity to see local music groups performing carols in Lanhydrock Church and take advantage of offers from the attraction's gift shop.

Tickets for the December 6th and 7th, 13th, 14th, 20th and 21st activities cost £3 for adults and booking is not necessary.

The attractive and imposing property, which also has an adventure playground, has celebrity status, having been featured in both 1993's The Three Musketeers and 1996's Twelfth Night.
