Cycling fans can find out about the history of the humble bike at a charming museum in Cornwall.
Located near the town of Camelford, the museum is well-placed for anyone enjoying a break in one of the numerous Cornwall holiday cottages peppering the countryside.
The British Cycling Museum boasts over 400 examples of bicycles as well as more than 1,000 cycling medals.
It also features an old style bicycle repair shop, where visitors can experience what it was like to get a puncture fixed back in the 1800s.

Visitors are welcome to head to the museum from Sunday to Thursday all year round with an adult ticket costing £2.50 and a child £1.50.
