Devon holiday cottage guests wishing to experience what is described by organisers as one of Dartmoor's most popular village experiences should head to Lustleigh at the end of August.
Running on the 31st August Bank Holiday at Kelly Farm is the 2009
Lustleigh Show, which is 'a fantastic day out' for the whole family due to the atmosphere and activities on offer.
More than 4,000 people grace the annual event, which will this year feature everything from music, stalls, great food, fire service displays and axe men demonstrations to a parachute display and sheep shearing.
Worth not missing out on at the fair are the horse and dog shows, which organisers claim 'are always great fun and people really love to see the dogs enjoying themselves'.
The event, which also features ferret racing and a Punch and Judy show, provides a great opportunity for visitors to sample and purchase 'fabulous produce' and a variety of other local items.
Lustleigh has previously been named the third prettiest village in England by the Daily Mail.
