South West painter Robert Jennison is set to have his work exhibited in a new showcase that people taking holiday cottages in Devon over the next few days may want to check out.
Contemporary art gallery
The Art Room in Topsham will feature the artist's work in an exhibition running from 6th February to 28th March 2010.
Although he was influenced by the landscape of Dartmoor, which prompted him to pick up the paint brush in the early 1960s, Mr Jennison's paintings are produced in the studio rather than outdoors.
His work, which 'explores the subject itself and the change from being of the subject to being about it', according to the gallery, is based on drawings and photographs.
The exhibition is part of a changing programme of work from South West artists showcased at the gallery throughout the year.
Work by the 'highly collectable' Zoe Rebecca Cameron is also featured at the attraction.
