Holidaymakers are invited to a day of fun, frolics and intrigue as the Cornish countryside erupts in an event highlighting Trevarno's colourful past.
Sunday August 31st will see
Trevarno's Victorian Jamboree take centre stage in Cornwall as the region's mining history is brought alive in a whole range of new and imaginative ways.
Organisers say the event will be the last big family day out of the summer at Trevarno Country Estate Garden, Helston, which is perfect for an all engaging family day out.
Among the treats lined up are cornish wrestling, shows from the Puffing Devil, a chance to see and eat Victorian food, sack racing, egg and spoon races, music, Punch and Judy shows among others
Holidaymakers can book themselves a Cornwall holiday cottage or holiday home and be part of the event being hosted in the venue full of beautiful gardens.
Tickets to the event, which kicks off at 10.00am and runs until 4.30pm, cost under seven pounds for adults and £2.10 for children.
