Its Herbal Workshop was the first in the UK to earn formal certification by the Organic Farmers and Growers Association and its handmade products are 'produced using the purest plant oils and materials', according to the estate.

Visitors can not only sample these products, but also visit the attraction's intriguing vintage soap museum, honey bee information centre and a period toy museum.

The estate's magnificent gardens, grounds and woodland offer an ideal environment for walks, which provide a great opportunity to spot local wildlife including deer.
