A humorous adaptation of a classical mythical story involving gods is set to thrill theatre lovers and holidaymakers in the South West this summer.
The Miracle Theatre Company is preparing to thrill holidaymakers enjoying their
Cornwall holiday cottages and holiday homes in Cornwall in the production titled Jason, to be staged at the
Carn Marth Amphitheatre in Redruth.
Holidaymakers can book themselves a Cornwall cottage on August 29th in order not to miss the production showcasing how the Argonauts found themselves facing up to dysfunctional gods, sirens with halitosis and a bad weather forecast.
"Jason's quest for the Golden Fleece contains most of the ingredients you'd expect to find in a classic story: a perilous journey, bravery, jeopardy, revenge, plenty of comedy and a dose of the supernatural," says Miracle.
As well as enjoying the show, holidaymakers can also walk around and enjoy the enchanting surroundings of the open air Carn Marth Amphitheatre described by the trustees as "one of the vital stepping stones, or oasis's of Lowland Heath that run down the South West peninsular."
