Lovers of music, surf and action-packed water sports who are staying in Cornwall holiday cottages in August will be in for a treat as the
Relentless Boardmasters 2009 showcase returns to the South West.
Running from 5th to 9th August, the action-packed and entertaining event will feature surfing, skating and bmx competitions in a variety of locations across Newquay including the iconic Fistral Beach and Watergate Bay.
Some 12,500 people are expected to turn up for the event, which will feature a music festival with a number of notable performers entertaining fans on the cliff tops of Watergate Bay.
Fistral Beach on the other hand is the place to be for anyone wishing to experience the surf, skate and BMX competitions, which will be followed by nightly live music performances.
Calvin Harris, Super Furry Animals, Filthy Dukes, Freeland, Roots Manuva, Pete & the Pirates and Back Beat Soundsystem are some of the acts on the programme.
