One of the most famous villages in the world, located in the South West, is set to host a festival that people taking Devon holiday cottages in July should not miss if they want to enjoy its thrills and entertainment.
Clovelly's Maritime Festival will take place on 26th July at the village's harbour, with 'traditional seaside entertainment' and something for everyone of all ages to enjoy on the programme, according to organisers.
Visitors will be able to catch the finish of the Classic Cliffs UK trail-running competition, which is expected to feature more than 100 people taking part in a punishing 55 mile run from Port Isaac.
Two of the semi-finalists from this year's Britain's Got Talent show will also make an appearance, with one eating fire and juggling fruit and another performing an escape stunt with his head inside a diving helmet filled with water.
Various other forms of entertainment are lined up in the event, which will in a picturesque location featuring a cobbled high street and traditional whitewashed cottages bedecked with fuchsias and geraniums.
