An opportunity for Devon holiday cottage guests to participate in the re-enactment of "a murder mystery with a difference" is coming up at an enchanting South West attraction.
Dubbed Who killed the candlestick?, the event will be taking place at
Arlington Court, a National Trust property that is also home to the Trust's largest collection of horse-drawn carriages.
During the event, which takes place around the house, guests will be allowed to play detective and attempt to solve the mystery surrounding the damage of precious items in the house using clues.
Holidaymakers wishing to attend the November 29th and 30th event are advised to bring along warm clothes as the house is not heated.
Perks include a chance to see eccentric traveller Rosalie Chichester's collections as well as an opportunity to explore the charming Victorian pleasure grounds that adorn the attraction.
Depending on the weather, holidaymakers will also be able to get carriage rides around the grounds.
