In the garden (furniture, barbecue, swing, slide and climbing frame, strutting peacocks/roaming chickens and ducks – eggs to collect), a summer house/games room (half-size pool table, table tennis, table football) and, in the large central courtyard between the farmhouse and its annexe, a hot tub and trampoline. You are welcome to wander the fields (alpacas and pot-bellied pigs to feed), enjoy the bluebell woods (deer and badger watching), stream, duck pond, and the gorgeous views and, if this isn’t enough, there’s a range of activities on offer (extra). These include clay pigeon shooting, quad biking (adults/children), Aga Cats (amphibious vehicles), archery and deer stalking. Horse riding/pony-trekking and deep sea fishing locally can also be arranged.

Two staircases up to five bedrooms – two double (5’ beds, TV/DVD/video); a twin (TV/DVD/video) with view over courtyard and sloping ceiling; another twin (TV) with views of the valley; and a third small twin (TV/video) overlooking the courtyard with part sloping ceiling; three bathrooms (suites - one with hand-shower and sloping ceiling; one with hand-shower, separate shower and sloping ceiling; and one with corner bath and bath-shower).

The single-storey annexe overlooks the courtyard. Open-plan living (TV/DVD/video, music centre)/dining/kitchen (microwave, fridge-freezer, washing machine) with large French windows to the courtyard and hot tub; a double bedroom (5’ bed) and bathroom (suite with corner bath plus hand-shower and separate shower). The annexe is suitable for people with mobility difficulties.
