Chilsworthy: village 2½ miles from Holsworthy and its pubs and shops. The Cornish coast at Bude and its superb sand/surf beaches, 9 miles, or Sandy Mouth, 10. The Tamar Lakes (fishing, sailing, windsurfing), 4 miles. Riding locally.
The property:
... on the edge of Chilsworthy, off a quiet lane, a single-storey cottage and two apartments, all converted from barns, sharing an indoor heated swimming pool (29' x 12' x 4' to 6' deep), ½ acre lawn garden (barbecue), and use of washing machine, tumble drier (extra) in adjoining building. The friendly owners live on the other side of the garden. High standard conversions; a good, comfortable, friendly place. The upstairs apartment is reached by own staircase leading up to cosy open-plan living (sofa bed, TV)/dining/fitted kitchen (microwave); double bedroom, prettily decorated, farmland views; bathroom (suite plus bath-shower). Own patio (table/chairs, barbecue). |
