Please note:  No pets are allowed at this property.     Unfortunately the Post Office/Shop in Trevone is closing down. The nearest Post Office is now in St. Merryn (approx 1.5 miles) This house is no longer suitable for those guests with mobility problems, please call us for more detail. There is now one TV and DVD only, situated in the living room, the video player has also been removed. There is now a tumble drier at the house. Groceries can no longer be pre-ordered from the owner but supermarket deliveries can be arranged by guests.

The place:
Trevone: village (pub, farm shop, surf school, beach shop) on and around two fine-sand beaches, one with summer lifeguards and 80’ blow-hole and one with interesting rock pools, and on the coast path. Padstow and golf at Trevose, 1½ miles.

The property:

… in Trevone, at the end of a no through road, a detached bungalow with long views to the sea and along the coast. Neat, shrub-filled garden to the front and back (table/chairs, barbecue). 800 yard steepish walk (plenty of beach-side parking for the less fit!) down to the sandy beach (lifeguards in summer) for family fun, swim or surf, then back to sunbathe in the sheltered garden. Sunny living room with woodburner and French windows to garden (5 steps down); split-level fitted kitchen/dining room (dishwasher, microwave) with wood floor and pretty views across the garden to the sea; utility with washing machine and freezer; loo (washbasin).

Four bedrooms – a double (5’ bed), through to a child’s room (no door) with bunk beds (2'6" wide, 5'8" long), and en suite bathroom (suite), another double, and a room with a single bed. Bathroom (suite plus separate shower) with tiled floor. Exterior hot shower for rinsing sandy bodies. 3 TVs/DVD/video. Best for maximum of 5 adults, 2 children. Good for beach or walking holidays.
