… like Baby Bear’s porridge, this 17^th cent. thatched detached Grade II listed cottage, several fields back from the sea is ‘just right’.  It is 200 yards from the 13^th cent. pub at Morwenstow, which serves excellent local produce, and there is access over the fields to the coastal footpath from the front gate. In 2009/10 the cottage was completely transformed without losing any charm. As you would expect, there are some low door lintels (lowest 5’5”), thick uneven cob walls and exposed ceiling beams. A simple cottage garden (table/chairs) surrounds it - the odd chicken might wander through.
