The place:
Kingsand and Cawsand: exquisite adjoining fishing villages in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty sheltered by a wooded headland; pebble-and-sand beaches, family pubs, cafés, essential shops. Watersports hire in Cawsand. Whitsand Bay, 1 mile; Mount Edgcumbe (800 acres for walking), and pedestrian ferry to Plymouth (city amenities, theatre, cinema), 2½ miles. Plymouth by car ferry, 8½ miles.

The property:

… on the eastern edge of Kingsand, a 19th cent., ‘toes in the water’, semi-detached beach house with glorious sea views. This is an exceptional house in a brilliant position. Inside, stylish and extremely comfortable. Entrance hall; fitted kitchen/dining room (microwave, dishwasher, fridge-freezer, Belling double oven electric range, TV); utility area with washing machine, tumble drier, Belfast sink; shower-room (suite) with original porthole window. Back door to verandah and side gate to lane. Ground floor single bedroom with pull-out truckle (limited hanging space); smart bathroom (suite plus bath-shower and hand-shower). Stairs (steep) from hall up to large, elegant living room with spectacular sea/beach views (the sun turning the water to a sparkling turquoise), TV/DVD and French windows to balcony (table/chairs); also upstairs, two more bedrooms - a double (5’3" bed) with pretty beach/village views, and a room with two sets of bunks. A wonderful place to be. Loading/unloading immediately outside - public car park, 150 yards (flat walk). Cautionary Deposit £100.
