The place:
Commonmoor: hamlet sheltering in a dip on Bodmin Moor’s wooded south-eastern edge. Dramatic Golitha Falls, 2 miles. Fine walks to Neolithic monoliths and natural rock formations, and to several pubs (nearest 2 miles). Siblyback Reservoir (watersports), 1½ miles. Liskeard (shops, café, railway), 4 miles. South coast beaches (Looe, Polperro), 10 miles.

The property:

... in Commonmoor, approached along a private footpath, a dear little 19th cent. stone cottage (middle one of three), built for the many tin miners who populated this historic area. To the front there is a neat sheltered paved area with table/chairs and barbecue, and beyond, neighbours’ gardens. Inside is cosy with bags of character; considerable effort has been made to make it attractively different. Porch to living/dining room with granite inglenook (open fire), ceiling beams and slate floor/carpet, TV/DVD; tiny but efficient kitchen (microwave); steep stairs up to the double bedroom and shower-room (suite). There is an outside shed with washing machine and tumble drier. Smashing cottage for walkers/country lovers.
