The place:
Port Navas: beautiful creek-side hamlet, completely unspoilt. Oyster farm. The tidal creek leads into the Helford River, and beside it a lane to Glendurgan and Trebah Gardens and Helford Passage (sandy beach, good pub, boat hire) where pedestrian ferry to Helford village (nice pub). Many other beaches nearby. Constantine (nearest shops/good food pubs), 1½ miles; Falmouth, 6.

The property:

... in Port Navas, a former boathouse, now the whole of the top floor is yours to enjoy (ground floor remains a boat-shed/garage); tiny garden (barbecue) behind. Mooring for boats up to 20' straight in front. Inside, light, bright and very smartly renovated. Outside steps lead to hall (washing machine). Large living room (woodburner)/dining/fitted kitchen (dishwasher, fridge-freezer), all stylishly done in Norwegian pine with vaulted ceiling and French windows (lockable) to long, wooden balcony (sensational views down the creek and of 'messing about in boats'). Two pretty bedrooms: a double (5' bed) with en suite bathroom (suite plus bath-shower), and a twin with en suite shower-room (suite). TV/DVD/video. Bar and meals sometimes available at Port Navas Sailing Club (irregular opening times).
