"Beautiful location, spotless accommodation and had everything we needed for 2 little girls; sheep and cows outside our kitchen patio, stair gates provided, comfortable sleeping, spacious living, toys and books and a washing machine and dryer to name a few! And a fantastic location to explore south hams; bantam, big bury, salcombe all a short drive away. Perfect for quality family time."

"The barn conversion was spot on. The layout was good as were the facilities provided and there was nothing I could think of that we needed during the holiday. The owners are on site so they can provide any help very quickly. We had a large bulb explode (without any problems to us)but this was replace within 10 minutes. The area is safe for young children as the property is quite away from the main road and the play barn was a hit with the grand children. The only thing to be aware of is that there are some steep stairs to the two lower bedrooms. But our grandchildren, youngest being nearly 4, had no problems. The one bedroom on the ground floor is easily accessable but might be a problem with someone in a wheelchair especially as there are three steps down to the kitchen/diner from the lounge. The kitchen has level access from the back but the front door has three steps (with no ramp) into the hall.
All that said I would not hesitate to recommend this property due to its position and facilities. Locally there is loads to do and places to visit." HH reply: "Thank you very much for your comments; we're really pleased to hear you liked the barn and had a good holiday. For anyone with mobility difficulties we recommend the neighbouring barn to this one, which is our property reference L60. L60 is a property we consider suitable for wheelchair users wheras L61 is not a property we list as suitable. As with any property, we recommend you speak to someone who has personally visited before booking in order make sure it is suited to your requirements."

"Higher Torr Farm is a lovely place to stay. The farm itself is peaceful, the barns well equipped and the playbarn great for kids. The farm is also in a brilliant position for visiting lots of local attractions such as Buckfastleigh Steam Train (fantastic trip!) Bantham Beach(beautiful, clean and safe), Paignton Zoo and the lovely town of Kingsbridge. We had a fantastic holiday and will no doubt be back!!"
